The public rails a company notices first are institutional: identity and payments that a private firm can build on. They are a reason a new company can start further along. They are not a warehouse, a state licence, or a road that reaches a customer.
The physical systems still sort the cities. Bengaluru, Mumbai, the capital region, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune each have their own commute. A city brief that skips the street for a national digital account is incomplete. There is no India property file in which to park a metro-and-housing essay. Who pays for a line is an investment question, not a project list.
